Edmonton Business Referral Network

Edmonton Business Referral NetworkThe Edmonton Business Referral Network needed a way to increase website traffic, build credibility and establish trust with prospects. Hosting an impressive archive of useful and relevant articles allows them to do just that!

The site was updated weekly with articles to help people manage their business, finance and health.

Evel Dick

Evel DickFresh from his win at Big Brother 8, Evel Dick needed a site he could update on a daily basis with blog postings and photos of him partying with various celebrities. He wanted a design that was “heavy f*cking metal!”

eGPS

eGPSThis small business came to me with a confusing site that had over 40 pages. The content had been written by computer programmers and was devoid of marketing!

By first stripping the site down to its bare essentials, the client and I were better able to focus on the user experience. With SEO-friendly and CSS-based coding, slapping on an attractive design was easy to accomplish! Flash maps illustrate network coverage.

Million Air

Million AirMillion Air needed a site that was fast-loading, convenient for pilots to use and was functional on a number of different platforms. The “Jump to an FBO” nav bar helps their visitors save valuable time!

In addition to redesigning and maintaining their corporate site, I’ve maintained a relationship with Million Air and have provided all kinds of fun presentations over the years. (Available upon request!)

The “Edmonton Pubs” Websites

The Sherlock Holmes Pubs

The original Edmonton Pubs website was an excellent example of a site that had been created by print designers: it was beautiful to look at, hard to use, and clearly hadn’t been tested on a variety of different screen sizes. All the readable content was squished into a little iframe and the site hadn’t been updated in years!

As a subcontractor of 4web.ca, I helped create a series of websites that were easy to navigate and fun to use.

David E. Russo, Composer

David E. RussoWhat’s the most fun and interactive way to present a portfolio of music composed for various films, TV shows and commercials?

Why, using Flash of course!

This website allows David to give his clients access to “The Vault” and keep his files confidential.

Call Federal Credit Union: Website Animations

Talk about the power of intention! On Friday, November 17, 2006, I launched the business-oriented version of my site. The next morning, I had 3 emails from genuine prospects!

One those prospects was the lovely and talented Kelley Parks of Call Federal Credit Union. She had just re-branded the company and created a mascot, and wanted a fun and unique way of presenting them to the board. After a quick preliminary test to see if I could make “idude” walk, we collaborated on the first of our many projects together.

The “Annual Meeting” animation was the first time I’d ever heard one of my scripts narrated by a professional. Exciting times!

Note: the following were designed to fit into the left-hand side of the website’s search tool.

The Friesian Connection

The Friesian ConnectionKnown as the rockstars of the horse world, Friesian horses are beautiful, powerful animals with long shiny manes that have dazzled horse enthusiasts for generations.
