To put it simply — if your website isn’t grabbing the attention of your visitors, enticing them to contact you, or helping you make money — it sucks!
And, unfortunately, a “web designer” can’t help you.
Why? Because “web designers” are typically focused on technology — not results.
Web designers ask confusing questions like, “do you want your code to be responsive on mobile platforms?” and get excited about new programming languages. They’re focused on what the content looks like — not on how it connects with the visitor.
If you want a website that works, you must acknowledge your visitors as human beings. You must be clear on who they are, what they want, and what their pains are. And, you must establish yourself as someone who can take away those pains.
If your site sucks, you don’t need another web designer. You need an advisor who knows the difference between what you “want” and what you “need,” and can help you find the balance.
If your website isn’t getting the attention it should, send me the link! I’ll have a look and give you my honest feedback.
